Estudios
- Espirometría simple
La espirometría simple es un estudio rápido e indoloro en el cual se utiliza un dispositivo llamado espirómetro para medir la cantidad de aire que pueden retener los pulmones de una persona (volumen de aire) y la velocidad que se logra al soplar (velocidad de flujo de aire).
- Espirometría con reto de broncodilatador
Estudio en el que se agrega el reto de broncodilatador, el cual consiste en administrar un medicamento inhalado (SALBUTAMOL) para “abrir” los bronquios y realizar nuevamente la espirometría simple bajo los efectos del medicamento.
- Espirometría con PIMAX Y PEMAX
La espirometría simple con PIMAX y PEMAX es un estudio rápido e indoloro en el cual se utiliza un dispositivo llamado espirómetro para medir la cantidad de aire que pueden retener los pulmones de una persona (volumen de aire) y velocidad al soplar (velocidad de flujo de aire), además, se mide la presión que ejercen los músculos al hacer el esfuerzo inspiratorio y espiratorio máximo con un dispositivo que trabaja con válvulas.
- Prueba de caminata de 6 minutos
La prueba de caminata de seis minutos es una prueba que consiste en caminar durante seis minutos en una superficie plana y a tolerancia del examinado; durante este tiempo se miden objetivamente presencia de disnea, frecuencia cardiaca, frecuencia respiratoria y saturación de oxígeno al inicio y al final de la prueba con evaluaciones intermedias según se requiera. Estudia la tolerancia al ejercicio en las actividades cotidianas.
- Prueba de ejercicio cardiopulmonar
La prueba de ejercicio cardiopulmonar es una prueba que mide parámetros metabólicos (calorimetría), cardiacos (frecuencia cardiaca y presión arterial), ventilatorios (saturación de oxígeno y frecuencia
